4th Installation Night

As per norm, the yearly Intallation Night undergoes. Held at the Riverside Resort Kuala Kangsar on 27th September, it was safe to say that is by far the best activity the Interactors of MCKK together with the Rotary Club of Kuala Kangsar had done for the year 2013. As usual the new board of directors was officially introduced and other than that it was just 2 hours of fun.

INTERACT LEADERSHIP TRAINING SEMINAR 2013

On August 25th 2013,a group of 11 interactors and one teacher advisor attended the Interact Leadership Training Seminar 2013 held by the Rotary Club of Taiping at St.George,Taiping,Perak. The five hours spent starting from 8:00 am to 1:00 was really insightful to us,future board of directors about our duty,our responsibility and most importantly,a further and clearer understanding of what Interact Club and Rotary Club really means.

Furthermore,this was also a golden opportunity for us to get to know follow members of other Interact club of their respective schools,thus widening the fellowship among us.

On 13/6/2013, The Interact Club of Kuala Kangsar sent interactors to SK Trosor. Our objective there was simple. Teaching young UPSR students! On that day, we thought standard 6 students Science. Even though the syllabus now was in Bahasa Melayu, we managed to teach them efficiently. It was a fun and educational time for all.

Recycling Bins Arrived!

In conjunction with "The Malay College Youth Development Summit", The Interact Club have placed 15 recycling bins around The Malay College Kuala Kangsar grounds to make sure collegians recycle unwanted goods like paper and glass to save Mother Earth.

Smiley Day Successful!

On 28th April 2013, The Interact Club of The Malay College Kuala Kangsar organized a charity work called “Smiley Day”. This event was done at The Store Kuala Kangsar and Mini Market Kuala Kangsar. The purpose of this activity is to make the people of Kuala Kangsar more happy and have positively thinking. The activities we done was to help carry loads of groceries of customers to their car. They were even given muffins as free gifts. This event started at 10.00 am and ended at 12.00 noon. Even though there was not enough time but we managed to help a lot. It was a tiring day for the interactors but they were all happy to give a hand to a lot of people.

Trip to Kuala Sepetang!!

On the 10th March 2013, UNESCO members and Interactors went to Kuala Sepetang for a joint project which is planting small mangrove trees. The group of 25 Interactors and UNESCO members departed from College grounds at 8.15 am and arrived at Kuala Sepetang around 10.15 am. We were given a tour around the mangrove forest. We walked on the pathway and saw many types of trees there. We even went to the Matang Mangrove Forest Interpretation Centre where we were given a brief on the benefits of mangrove forest and products that can be made by mangrove trees. After the tour, we began planting the small mangrove trees. Even though it was quite a harsh environment, we managed to plant about 30 small mangrove trees. Lastly, we were taken to the charcoal factory to see how charcoal is made from mangrove trees. We left Kuala Sepetang around 1 pm in the afternoon. It was a fun and knowledgeable trip for everyone.

10 Interactors went to the English Camp to become facilitators for 10 groups.

      3.       Went to Leadership Training Camp at SMJK Cina Hua Lian

The board members of the Interact Club of MCKK went to attend the training camp.

      4.       Had Dinner with District Govener

All board members of Interact Club of MCKK went to have dinner with District Govener.
